A public forum on the 2012 budget statement and economic policy for next year is being held in Accra today.
It will focus on allocations to six ministries and is intended to deepen public understanding of the budget.
These include the Ministry of Finance, Communications, Agriculture, Energy, Environment Science and Technology and Trade and Industry.
A Deputy Minister for Information, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa told Joy Business the public input will help in the implementation of the budget.
He said it was the belief of the government that explaining to the citizenry, areas of the budget they can take advantage of, will help Ghanaians benefit from the government’s policies.
