The CPP NEC must come on!!

Response to Mr. Bright Akwetey and Ivor Greenstreet My name is Kwame Quayson also known as “Ayoma”, the CPP’s Regional Organizer in the Central Region. I regret having to go public in this manner as I am loyal, disciplined member of the CPP. Circumstances beyond my control have caused this to happen. First, Mr. Bright Akwetey called people calling for an extraordinary meeting of the National Executive Council of the CPP next week, “faceless and dubious characters”. I am neither faceless nor dubious character. I was suffering for this party (CPP) long before Mr. Bright Akwetey joined it. We should rather question Mr. Akwetey who made him CPP’s Legal Advisor? He is an ordinary member who lost miserably in 2007 in his attempt to become the flagbearer. He Akwetey jumped the gun and declared himself an aspirant for 2012 before his Burma Camp Church and at Central committee, way before the September congress. What contribution has he made to the party’s organization? Second, Mr. Greenstreet is putting himself above NEC and I want to assure him that I am one of the so-called faceless people who signed the notice to go to NEC. Indeed, eight out of the nine Central Region CPP Regional Executives signed the document and we are going to the NEC meeting. If Mr. Greenstreet and the Chairman cannot even call Leadership and Central Committee, how can we trust them to organize NEC meeting? NEC is above Greenstreet and I can assure him that more than the required one third of the eligible NEC members have signed the document. He should come to the meeting to scrutinise and verify the authenticity of the signatures. If they are not genuine we will call it off, otherwise. NEC is coming on next week. Change “Yeresesamu” and the grassroots power has arrived in the CPP. Akwetey and Greenstreet must join or move out of our way.
