Nkoranza North DCE, Kwadwo Adjei Dwumor, and chiefs of Dumakese have urged residents of the area to restrain themselves from attacking Fulani herdsmen residing with them in the community.
The residents threatened to attack herdsmen if they fail to vacate the area in a week.
The chiefs met the DCE on Friday to find a way of ensuring calm in the area.
Mr Adjei Dwumor has assured security officials will be monitoring activities in the locality.
Meanwhile DCE for Gushegu, Alhaji Alhassan Fuseini, is lamenting provision of shelter and security for Fulanis in the area is draining the assembly’s funds because it was not budgeted for.
