The probe into how a cocaine exhibit mysteriously turned into baking soda is expected to take an interesting turn today as the Committee resumes sitting to hear the account of events from the Circuit Court judge at the center of the case.
It follows the testimony of the prosecutor in the case at the last sitting that the judge shouted her down when she attempted to point out a fundamental error in his decision to allow the infamous second test.
State Attorney, Stella Arhin had told the Committee that she vehemently objected to the decision of the trial judge, Eric Kyei-Baffour to allow a second testing of the substance admitted in evidence a day earlier.
She also accused him of verbally abusing her for insisting the procedure was wrong.
The circuit court judge is expected to respond to the claims and tell the committee what he knows about the controversial trial.
