Reverend Cephas Adehenu, Resident Pastor of the Assemblies of God SSNIT Flats in Ho has urged Christian couples to be prayerful.
Reverend Adehenu gave the exhortation at the Church’s maiden Couples Dinner on Christmas day.
It was a platform for couples in the Church and invited couples to share their experiences, renew their romance, and relax.
Reverend Adehenu said marriage was instituted by God as a foundation for the preservation of societies and their values.
He said that foundation was being shaken by evil cultures that sought to undermine the family unit, which is the identity and strength of civilisation.
Reverend Adehenu said the forces against marriage as instituted by God must ore be countered through prayer by Christian couples for God to protect society’s cherished values from disintegrating.
