The driver of a 15 seater KIA minibus that was involved in a gory accident Wednesday morning behind Ayrton Drugs Manufacturing Company on the Abeka-Lapaz road has died.
The driver got trapped in the vehicle with registration number GT 7915 Q after a 40-ft container fell from its trailer and landed on the bus.
The trailer (GT 3938) was about to offload medical supplies and equipments at the company’s premises when the incident took place.
Eyewitnesses say people looked on while the driver’s head crushed with blood oozing out but could do nothing to help.
All passengers and the driver’s mate, however, escaped unhurt.
