Four people died on the spot this dawn when a Yutong bus travelling to Bolgatanga from Accra run into the rear of another bus on the Offinso highway in the Ashanti region.
Among the dead include the driver of the Yutong Bus, his mate a woman and her baby.
Several people also sustained various degrees of injuries and were rushed to the Saint Patrick’s Hospital in Suynani.
Joy Fm’s Upper East regional Correspondent, Albert Sore was on board the bus but escaped unscathed.
Offinso Divisional MTTU Commander, ASP Albert Oddei Quansah has confirmed the deaths, to Joy News.
According to over 30 victims suffered minor injuries except two others who are in critical condition and have been transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
