The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has described the late Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA) as one of the ‘excellent journalists’ in the country.
The President, posted on his Twitter handle: "Shocked by the news of @Kojokaba’s death. Undoubtedly one of the most talented journalists of his generation. Condolences to his wife, family and Multimedia. #RIPKABA"

KABA until his sudden death, was the host of popular late afternoon political talk show, Ekosii Sen on Asempa 94.7 FM.
He was married to Valentina Ofori Afriyie who is also a broadcaster with Accra-based Class FM, having worked many years with Radio Gold and Spirit Fm in Kumasi.
He left behind a daughter.
