UK-based pastor and President of the International Youth Empowerment Summit (iYES) and a number of distinguished Ghanaians have been honoured with the ‘Lifetime in portraits awards.’
Brian Amoateng, as well as Comfort Ocran who is CEO of Legacy and Legacy, were honoured at a colourful event at the Banquet Hall, State House.
The 2017 edition of the lifetime in portrait awards honoured distinguished Ghanaian captains of industry who started from humble beginnings and still made it against all odds and are now making tremendous contributions to job creation and national development.

Receiving the award, Pastor Brian Amoateng thanked the organisers and tasked the youth to be inspired to cause the change they wish to see.
He said, “to all who have supported me I say thank you and finally to all the youth of Ghana, we will make it….I will, I can, I must.”
Pastor Brian Amoateng was honored for his positive impact on society, noting the role his global initiative which seeks to empower the youth has played in national development.
Other awardees included Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom who is Chairman of Groupe Nduom, Dr. Kwabena Duffour who is founder and chairman HODA holdings, Mrs. Joyce Ababio who is president of Joyce Ababio Creative Designs, as well as Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong who is CEO Special Group of Companies.
The Initiators of Change Foundation which organized the award honored him as a hero in industry development and youth empowerment.
