The atmosphere is charged as preparations take shape for the 11th edition of Luv FM Skuulz Reunion, Saturday, after last year’s break.
High enthusiasm and energy exhibited by old students associations in studio jama performances, as school anthems fill the air, point to an anticipated grand event at the Baba Yara Stadium.
This year’s event has witnessed among activities prior to the real action, the on-air play of school anthems which has aroused irresistible sensation and nostalgia among old students.
From second cycle to tertiary, groups have been blazing with excitement as they tout achievements of their respective schools.
The Mmerantie of Kumasi High, Akatakyie of Opoku Ware , Canadians of Kumasi Technical Institute, Amanfuo of Prempeh College and Matcosa of Mampong Technical College of Educatio.
Others are Unity Hall of KNUST, Titans of the University of Education and Ashanti Hall of Kumasi Technical University.
And when Katanga Hall of KNUST took their turn last night it was mixed feeling as they dedicated this song to the memory of departed host of Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, Kwadwo Asare Boaffout Acheapong.
A “Home coming Jam “ tonight at the plush Sports Bar and Grill the PITCH precedes what promises to be an explosive get-together tomorrow amid variety entertainment.
Legendary VVIP, among other performers, will thrill the crowd at the event sponsored by Guaranty Trust Bank and Adonko Bitters.
