The incident occurred when a police patrol team was ambushed whiles on its way to arrest a notorious armed robber in his hideout in the area during which a policeman was killed and three injured.
Seventy-six suspects were arrested and five detained after screening.
Acting Accra Police PRO, Corporal Kwabena Danso told Joy news the suspects will duly go to court but they need to carry out more investigations into the case.
