The Manhyia Police command have mounted a search for members of the robbery gang that robbed the campus of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology last Thursday.
Three people, including a woman were picked up at the weekend when they attempted to sell booty from the robbery on campus.
Police believe there are more members of the gang to be arrested for their various roles played.
Five armed robbers shot one person and made away with unspecified amount of money after a siege at the Continental Supermarket at Unity Hall of the university.
Manhyia Divisional Commander, DSP Nicholas Ofosuhene-Oware will not disclose the identity of the suspects.
According to him, an informant had tipped-off police the three had offered for sale ‘provisions’ believed to have been stolen from the operation.
Personnel of the Criminal Investigations Department were detailed leading to the arrest of the owner of the room where the goods are being kept and the saleswoman.
The third person is a male accomplice. A small axe and a sharp cutter suspected to be adapted for cutting padlocks were retrieved during a search.
DSP Ofosuhene-Oware assured residents the police will not relent until all members of the gang are arrested.
