Property worth thousands of Ghana Cedis were destroyed on Sunday when fire gutted parts of the Kumasi Central market. It took the fire service several hours to put out the blaze. The cause of the fire is not yet known.Kwabena Owusu Ampratwum of Luv FM who visited the scene reported that most of the stores destroyed belonged to traders who deal in shoes and cloths.
