The Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party has sent its well wishing message to candidates in the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the country.
In a statement signed by the National Youth Organizer of the NPP, Anthony Karbo, the party urged the candidates to carry themselves appropriately and advised them to desist from the various forms of examination malpractices which would not only mar the examinations but also has the tendency of destroying their future.
The statement asked the candidates not to allow the hard work of their teachers to go waste as they write their first major exams of their academic life.
The party urged the candidates not to lose hope in the face of daunting challenges and look into a brighter future which would among others entail free quality education at the senior high level and decent jobs that would enable them build a comfortable life.
More than 370,000 candidates from over 11,000 public and private schools are taking part in this year's BECE.
