Western Region’s celebrated radio talk show host, Philip Osei Bonsu, is now host of Asempa FM’s late afternoon political programme, 'Eko Sii Sen'.
Philip, a former host of Skyy Power FM’s Jolly Breakfast Show and weekend news analysis program, News Review in the Western Region, will be stepping into the shoes of the late Kojo Asare Baffour Acheampong, popularly known as KABA.
'Eko Sii Sen' is Ghana’s leading local language political talk show programme on Asempa FM and airs from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm every weekday.
Mr Bonsu, popularly known as OB, comes to the job with a repertoire of experiences as a broadcaster and a corporate communicator.
Until his appointment, he was the Head of Public Relations for the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) in the Western Region.
OB was also the Skyy Power FM’s Brand and Corporate Communications Manager.
The 2017 Mandela Washington Fellow is a Tullow Scholar who holds an MSc in Corporate Communication and Public Affairs from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen.
He will take over from Ekua Boakyewaa Yiadom who has been handling the show since KABA’s demise last November.
