Ghana league champions Aduana Stars suffered a 1-0 defeat in their CAF Champions League first leg clash against Libyan opposition Al Tahaddy.
The game which was played in Egypt due to the continued instability in Libya produced a goal and it fell to the home side.
Aduana conceded in the first minute and despite a spirited display they fell short of grabbing an equalizer.
Tahaddy, on the other hand, were guilty of missing a host of chances which would have seen them win by a handsome margin ahead of the second leg.
With the scoreline, Aduana will fancy their chances of overturning the deficit and progressing to the next stage.
The return leg comes on the 19th February in Dormaa.
