The Kumasi Polytechnic branch of the Polytechnic Teachers Association of Ghana (POTAG) has decried delays by Government in migrating them unto the Single Spine Salary Structure (SSSS).
According to them, processes such as the Grading Structure, the Market Premium and mapping were completed three weeks ago and therefore questioned the reasons for the delay.
The local Chairman of the Association, Edmond Oppong-Peprah urged the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission to as a matter of urgency ensure his members have are migrated by the end of May.
He said his members will not accept old salaries should that be paid to them at the end of the month.
