Two towns in the Western Region may have earned notoriety for having names with profane connotations.
For example, the twin towns of Afamasi and Akotom are often mentioned together to create an awful meaning, that is, “it passed beneath and to enter.”
Another town called Koti-So-Aba may cause a stir when mentioned as its meaning suggests the seed of manhood.
As part of our Joy FM's Ghana Month series, correspondent Ina-Thalia Quansah visited some of these communities where she got some interesting revelations.
