Hearts of Oak boss Henry Wellington bemoaned his side's disappointing display after the Phobians lost 3-1 at home to AshantiGold.
The Phobians found themselves two goals down to their title rivals following strikes by James Akaminko and Amos Addai.
While Joseph Esso pulled one back, it was no more than a consolation as Mumuni Shaffiu scored to seal victory for Ashgold, who pulled five points clear of Wellington's side.

The defeat means Hearts are without a win after two games as they drew their season opener against Techiman Eleven Wonders last week.
"It very unfortunate that we had to lose in this manner," Wellington told reporters.
"So many things went wrong for us today because in the first half we weren’t pushing and we allowed them too much space to cause damage and they did it well."
"We came back after conceding the first two goals but there again we shipped in another awful goal. The goals we conceded were avoidable; I'm really disappointed with the outcome."
Next up for Hearts of Oak is an away trip to Ebusua Dwarfs while Ashgold host Karela United.
