Hearts of Oak star Winful Cobbinah has hit back at Sadick Adams over claims he doesn't merit 2016/17 season MTN FA Cup most valuable player award.
Cobbinah clinched the individual accolade ahead of the Kotoko talisman and that did not go down well with the latter.
According to Adams, the FA Cup committee were absolutely wrong to crown Cobbinah, arguing that he had a better competition due to his goal scoring exploits.

The 28-year old was the top scorer with five goals with three deciding the final 3-1 in favour of Kotoko at the expense of Hearts.
But Cobbinah has clapped back, insisting he deserved the award.
“I don’t normally talk about such things because we’re colleagues but he shouldn’t compare himself to me’’ said Winful Cobbinah. I deserved the accolade and the organizers gave it to me,” he told Zylofon FM.
“He should forget about the MTN FA Cup trophy that his club won. With the performance, I was better than him and he can’t compare himself to me. If my performance was poor in the entire competition I don’t think I could have earned a nomination.”
“It was fair I knew I was going to clinch the Best Player of the Year award because I helped Hearts reach the final and also won three man-of-the-match,''
