A section of the public has criticized President Akufo-Addo for calling out the opposition for allegedly leaking the GH-US military agreement before it was scrutinized by parliament.
The President, breaking his silence on the agreement on Thursday said the document, which was marked ‘secret’ was a public document.
He sought to question the motive behind anyone leaking “the documents destined for the scrutiny of parliament prematurely to a section of the media then went on to describe it as a secret document.
“How could a document intended for the consideration of parliament be described as a secret document,” he quizzed.
But the question being asked is why would the president be bothered if a public document is being leaked?
