The Sene District Assembly in the Brong Ahafo Region, has donated television sets, refrigerators and Ghana @ 50 cups all costing 5,000 Ghana cedis to five health institutions in the district.The beneficiary institutions were the Kwame Danso Health centre, Bassa Health centre, Nyankontre Clinic, Kajeji Health Centre and the Kwadwokrom Health Centre.Madam Cynthia Titiriku Danso, the District Chief Executive, who presented the items at separate ceremonies, commended health workers in the district for their contribution to the development of health in the area.She said the assembly would soon construct a maternity block at the Kwame Danso Health Centre to enhance health delivery in the district.Dr. Anthony Ofosu, District Director of Health Services, thanked the district assembly for the assistance and appealed to government to provide the district hospital with medical equipment to enhance health delivery in the areaSource: GNA
