As part of efforts to create awareness on the importance of exercising and promote healthy living, OmniBank over the weekend organized a health walk for staff.
The activity forms part of the bank’s commitment to promote good health among its staff and foster corporate bonding.
Management and staff walked through some principals streets of Accra, converged at the Christ the King parish and participated in aerobics.
The Executive Head of Human Resource at OmniBank, Stephen Takyi Adeakye said the walk was to stress the importance of exercising and healthy living among the staff to work hard and achieve the vision of the bank.
“We need a healthy mind in a health body to be able to increase their productivity for the bank” he added
Mr. Takyi Adeakye indicated that, the physical well-being of the staff was critical to achieving their 1,2,3 strategy for 2018.
“The staff are very critical to enable us achieve our 123 strategy which is to get one million customer account, become a second tier bank and have three billion deposit by 2020. When our staff is healthy, they will be able to translate this objective into a reality” he stated.
Mr. Takyi Adeakye noted that, the health walk will be a quarterly event on the company’s calendar to ensure staff work hard to meet the company's target and deliver good services to its clients.
