The New Patriotic Party will on Saturday, 25th August 2012, officially launch its campaign for the December 2012 election at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) at 10am.
The theme for the conference is “There is hope for Ghana”. The 2012 Manifesto of the NPP will be presented and adopted by delegates.
The Party Chairman, General Secretary, National Treasurer, and Campaign Manager will also present their respective reports as to the readiness of the party ahead of the December elections.
The 2012 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo-Addo, together with his running mate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will be outdoored officially at Saturday’s event, to be followed immediately by a rally at Mantse Agbona, at 3pm.
A campaign rally will take place at Mantse Agbona at 3pm immediately after the event at the Conference Centre. All 230 parliamentary candidates will be outdoored at the event.
The official launch of the NPP’s manifesto is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, the 29th of August at the National Theatre. The event is open to the general public.
