Charlie Adam has left Liverpool to join Stoke on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee, both clubs have confirmed. Adam arrived at the Potters' training ground on Friday morning and it is believed the Staffordshire club paid around £4m for the 26-year-old, who Kenny Dalglish only signed for Liverpool last summer from Blackpool.
Adam had been a star performer for Blackpool, but has struggled to make a significant impact at Anfield and under Dalglish's successor Brendan Rodgers this season, making just one start for the Reds so far.
The Scotland international did not feature in the squad for Liverpool's Europa League qualifying play-off second-leg against Hearts on Thursday night.
