Business operations have resumed at the Ghana House building in Accra Central after last night’s fire outbreak.
The fire incident resulted in a suspension of customer service at the call centre of Vodafone, one of the tenants of the building.
The Trade Ministry owns the Ghana House building and the Director of Finance and Administration, Kwesi Amoh-Himbson tells JOY BUSINESS, the fire service recommended for resumption of business activities after an assessment.
“This morning ECG, NADMO and fire service all came in to assess the situation for themselves before allowing the tenants to start their work. So if Vodafone has not resumed business activities then may be they want to do some re-assessment of the situation themselves but we’ve been given the go-ahead for all the other clients to do business. We would rely on fire service report to determine measures we would have to take to forestall any future occurrences” he noted.
