The Upper West Convener of Youth for Mahama, Godfrey Seidu Jassaw has stated that the National Democratic Congress government has demonstrated that it can catapult the youth of the country in to achieving their dreams.Speaking in exclusive interview to myjoyonline.com shortly after a cleanup exercise embarked on by its members at the Wa market Seidu Jassaw said president Mahama is a young person who the youth naturally identifies with.‘‘it is absolutely critical for the youth of this country to vote president Mahama in 2012 so that we can guarantee the continuous development of this country. The youth generally and indeed every Ghanaians for that matter will love to see more development; will want to see progress in areas of health especially for a rural region such as Upper West. We want to see the quality of education of our people improved; we want to see the injection of resources in to agriculture that can increase productivity and to put more money in to the peoples packets so that we can wriggle out of poverty in the short term,’’ he posited.Mr. Jassaw said the posture of the government showed that the country is on the verge of achieving those objectives.A member of the group Ms. Atanga Esther called on the youth in the country especially women to spread the ‘‘gospel’’ of the Better Ghana Agenda and that of president Mahama in order for the NDC to be retained in power to continue the good works for the country.
