The Electoral Commission is warning political party agents, journalists and observers to obtain a formal certificate from its offices before venturing to do anything at voting centers on Election Day.
The EC says those who flout this warning do so at their own risk.
EC Chairman Dr Afari Djan said his men will turn away any person who has not been certified.
He was speaking at a Brand Ghana stakeholders meeting in Accra where a blueprint is being developed for election.
“The party leadership must respect and apply electoral laws. The [abide by the] process of appointing agents to the polling stations for election purposes.”
According to him, party executives failed to abide by these processes in the last elections, creating some confusion at the local levels.
"On the Election Day the polling station is a respected place. You can’t just get up and go [there],” he insisted.
Some of the issues discussed included civil education and how to deal with electoral offenders.
Joy News spoke to some of the participants including Franklin Cudjoe of IMANI Ghana who called for more vigilance at the polling stations.
