Lawyers for New Patriotic Party (NPP) communication team member, John Kumah - who is being held by officials of the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) – have just been granted access to him.
One of his lawyers, Gary Nimako Marfo earlier told Joy News they had been prevented from seeing him since his arrest Wednesday night for his alleged involvement in fraud.
John Kumah is alleged to have faked a National Investment Bank Bond Guarantee to secure a Japanese grant.
However Joy News’ Anny Osabutey who was at the EOCO office said the lawyers had finally been allowed to see him.
Anny added that interrogations are still ongoing.
