The Chief Executive Officer of mobile handset company TECNO Ghana, Maxwell Techie has been awarded, Customer Service CEO of the Year, the topmost prize at the 3rd National Customer Service Awards.
Held recently at the British Council, by the Organization For Customer Service Excellence, the awards seek to reward corporate excellence in customer service and to encourage the adoption of best customer service practices amongst Ghana’s corporate community.
“I am very grateful to the organizers for recognizing our effort. I dedicate this award to the entire staff of TECNO Ghana, Mobile Zone,” Maxwell said in statement.
Customer Service he said has been the hallmark of TECNO Ghana, and that the award only goes to reaffirm the trust their customers have in them.
“Customer Service is our hallmark. We have Customer Service Centers across the country to cater for all those who use our products. We also pride ourselves in providing the most affordable and easily accessible products.”
The company was the first mobile phone company to introduce dual sim phones in Ghana and Africa at large.
The company has also recently introduced its range of affordable Android phones, with the latest being the TECNO N3.
Maxwell Techie’s award comes months after the company also won the “Phone Company of the Year” at the Ghana Telecom Awards.
