The acting paramount chief of the Kwatsoma traditional area in the Jaman North constituency in the Brong Ahafo Region says the New Patriotic Party has the track record to implement Nana Akufo-Addo’s free Senior High Education pledge.
He says the NPP’s record in the eight years of the Kufuor administration convinces him and his people that free Senior High Education is possible under an NPP government.
Okokyeredom Amankwah was speaking at Seketia when he welcomed the presidential candidate of the NPP to the area.
He listed notable achievements of the Kufuor-led NPP government – National Health Insurance Scheme, capitation grant, school feeding programme – and argued that the implementation of those programmes was sufficient grounds for him to have faith in the NPP’s promise of free SHS.
