Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL), producers of Star Beer, has launched a nationwide consumer promotion - the 'Star Blitz Consumer Promotion' - to reward loyal consumers across the country.
The nationwide promotion will offer Star Beer lovers an opportunity to win over 200,000 incredible prizes.
Speaking at the media launch on Friday, Marketing Director of GGBL Agnes Essah said "This promotion is to express our appreciation and also reward our loyal consumers even as they enjoy their favourite beer, Star beer. Last year, Ghanaians were given the chance to win big prizes in the Star @ 50 NCP and this year the promotion is hitting the nation again and promises to be even bigger and more exciting".
The promotion which starts on Monday, 22nd October 2012 and ends on Saturday 15th December 2012 is open to everybody above the Legal Purchasing Age.
Consumers can be part of the Star Blitz National Consumer Promotion by purchasing of Star mini or Star large from their favourite bars and flipping the crown to see what has been won. There is no label change on Star Beer because of the promo. Prizes can be redeemed at your favourite bar, any Key Distributor or at GGBL Offices in Accra and Kumasi.
Herve-Sacha Rwamibango, Marketing Manager, Lagers said this year, the promotion is more exciting as two winners who collect three crowns, ‘I’ + ‘Heart symbol’ +’GH’, will enjoy an All Expense Paid weekend at the Lou Moon resort in Axim with one of their friend.
Other instant prizes include Samsung Galaxy Tablets 10.1, T-shirts, Shambala, Sunglasses, Headphones and many more exciting prizes. Just go to your favourite bar, buy your ice cold Star beer and stand the chance of winning any of these amazing prizes.
