Vodafone Ghana has been voted the Most Respected Telecommunications Company in Ghana by over 200 CEOs in the country. The CIMG Telecommunications Company of the Year was the only telecommunications company to be voted in the top 5 most respected companies at the recently held Ghana’s Most Respected CEO and Company Awards. This makes Vodafone Ghana the most awarded company in the telecommunications industry in Ghana this year after picking up six awards at the mobile telecoms awards, two awards at the CIMG awards and two more for the Vodafone TV show Healthline at the Radio and Television Personality awards and Security Watch Africa awards. The Ghana Most Respected Company and CEO awards are based on a survey of CEOs who are asked to choose the companies and CEOs they respect most and their reasons for their choice. It is held every two years and organised to recognise and reward excellence to CEOs and companies in corporate Ghana to motivate them to drive towards promoting good corporate governance practices, achieving value creation and building public trust. Kyle Whitehill, the CEO of Vodafone Ghana commented on Vodafone’s award which he believes is a result of hard work and a drive to grow the industry through innovation and leadership.
