The Black Stars of Ghana have booked a date with Cape Verde in an international friendly match on November 13.
The match which will be played in Portugal will serve as a preparatory game for both sides who will be at the 2013 Africa cup of nations in South Africa in two months time.
Cape Verde will give Ghana a good test after eliminating giants, Cameroon to make it to South Africa.
The Black Stars have been paired in Group B with Mali, Niger and DR Congo while Cape Verde are in Group A with South Africa, Angola and Morocco.
Both sides could meet in the quarter finals of the Africa cup of nations.
