The Ghana Football Association have announced an imminent overseas partnership with English champions, Manchester City.
According to the GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, the partnership see Ghana benefit in the areas of youth development, coaching and commerce.
“In furtherance of the objective to improve the game here, we will be doing a collaboration with Manchester City Football Club,” Kwesi Nyantakyi told a media briefing on Thursday.
“It is because of the enormous or the immense benefits that such a collaboration will offer the football association.
“As you are no doubt aware, Manchester City is one of the biggest brands in the world today.
“They have a lot of facilities and opportunities that a football association from Africa can gain a lot from.
“We also look to benefit from commercial activities where we want to leverage their commercial strengths and then use the links they have in sponsorships.”
