Global Access Savings and Loans emerged winners in the men’s football tournament of season six of the JOY sports invitational tournament after beating Zoomlion.
It was a pulsating final which ended goalless in regulation time but it was the financial institution who kept their nerves in the penalty shoot-out recording a 5-4 scoreline to shatter the dreams of Zoomlion as they won the trophy on their debut.
Ghana Commercial Bank male team could not replicate the feat of their ladies who won the female penalty shoot-out. They placed third in the competition.
The final took place on Saturday at the ATTC park.
