Newly appointed Acting Board Chairman of Accra Great Olympics, Fred Pappoe has promised to get Accra Great Olympics back to Ghana’s elite division.
Accra Great Olympics has been struggling for three seasons in the the second tier league but the teeming fans of the club now have a reason to smile after Fred Pappoe’s pronouncement.
Speaking on Multi Tv’s sports show on Badwam,Agokansie, Fred Pappoe said the current crop of leaders at the club are bent on returning Accra Great Olympics to its glorious days.
As part of the short term targets of the club, the newly appointed Acting Chairman of the club says his team will ensure that they get the “Dade Boys” back to the Premiership by the 2013/2014 season.
According to him, the medium term target of the club is to ensure that the club becomes functional structurally and ultimately become one of the best if not the best in Ghana and Africa in the long term.
He however appealed to the fans to desist from the practices that have affected the club negatively and rather remain resolute behind the team and support them in diverse ways to ensure that the dream to make Accra Great Olympics a household name in Ghana football once again a reality.
