Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo is aware of star striker Radamel Falcao's desire to play in another league in the future.
The Colombia international has been constantly linked with a move away from the club and Chelsea have reportedly opened informal talks to sign the 26-year-old.
Cerezo said Falcao was happy at Atletico but understands his wish to move from the La Liga club one day.
"He tells me he is very happy here and that he wants to honour his contract but one day, we don't know when, he would like to try out another league," he told Cuatro.
"I know that day will come, but it won't be anytime soon. I can say that he has told me personally that he loves being at this club.
"He is the best number nine in the world at the moment. He is also a lovely, kind guy, and he never loses his temper."
Falcao's contract with Atletico runs until June 2016.
