FIFA have banned a South Korea player for two internationals and warned the country's FA after he displayed a political banner during the Olympics.Jongwoo Park celebrated at the end of his side's bronze medal win over Japan by waving a banner supporting sovereignty of a group of islands that is disputed territory between the two countries.FIFA's disciplinary committee has banned the midfielder for two matches for unsporting behaviour and fined him 3,000 Swiss francs (£2020).FIFA said in a statement: 'The committee considered it appropriate to also impose a warning on the Korea Football Association and reminded it of its obligation to properly instruct its players on all the pertinent rules and applicable regulations before the start of any competition, in order to avoid such incident in the future.'Should incidents of such nature occur again in the future, the FIFA disciplinary committee may impose harsher sanctions on the Korea FA.'
