Ghana midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari says he is fit and ready for the AFCON 2013 tournament.
The AC Milan star suffered an injury in a friendly game in Ghana whilst on holidays and he was expected to be out for six months.
He however returned to full action sooner than expected.
There are reports the injury have ruled him out of the AFCON 2013 which will begin in January.
But Sulley Muntari said he is ready to don the national colours if he is selected by coach Akwasi Appiah.
The player wrote on his twitter page: ‘I’m feeling really good and with God’s will I hope to be back playing with AC Milan again next week. I want to thank everyone for their support during this time of my comeback. I’m working really hard and intend to be fully ready to fulfill my duties for my country for the AFCON 2013. The Ghana FA have not made a firm decision yet on any player, but as far as I know I am still in strong contention for a place in the team. I can't wait to get back into it and I want to give my contribution to the team.’
