Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Laud Quartey has received offers from more than ten clubs in the Ghana premier league as the second transfer window opened on Monday.
The 30-year-old experienced goalie failed to sign for any club for the 2012/13 season after terminating his contract with Heart of Oak as a result of not booking a first team place in the club.
“I decided to work on myself at home with some lower divisions and now I can see my form will be needed by most clubs in the league who are conceding more goals due to inexperienced goalkeeping. My doors are widely open waiting for the best of offers from these clubs,” he told JOY Sports.
Quartey joined Hearts in 2002 fresh out of Takoradi Polytechnic and believes that his experience will lead any club he joins to win this year’s league.
