Chief Executive Officer of Real Tamale United Nurudeen Mohammed has revealed that, they are keen on augmenting their squad with as many as seventeen new players.
The Tamale based side has so far been struggling in the premier league as they remain the only side yet to record a win.
This definitely leaves RTU to battle out of the relegation zone as they seek to retain their status in the top flight and CEO Nurudeen Mohammed believes the signing of the new players will create enough competition in the team.
“In any institution you find yourself, competition is very key and one we create an environment for competition, the team can survive”. He told JOY Sports
“We have planned to sign seventeen players to fight hard and remain in the top flight. We are not going to sign dormant players but active players in the ongoing premier league”.
RTU are bottom of the premier league standings with just 4 points out of 10 matches played in the Ghana premier league.
