The Togo Football Federation has denied media reports that FIFA has suspended financial aid to the association following a scandal which suggests which suggests the mismanagement of funds.
There were initial reports indicating that the world’s football governing body had denounced their financial support to the Togo Football federation led by Komla Ameyi due their inability to justify how they handled a 432, 000 dollars development grant for the 2011-2012 period.
But General Secretary of the Togo football federation Madam Yvette Klussey says they have settled the issue with FIFA and are in good terms with the World’s football governing body.
“We don’t have any problem with FIFA because as far as I’m concerned we have handed all documents requested from us”. She told JOY Sports
“FIFA never said they will not finance us anymore, so all the stories going round are false”.
