The Ghana Football Association will welcome Issa Hayatou to Accra on Tuesday as Ghana plays host to this year’s Glo-CAF awards.On Thursday, December 20, the Banquet Hall in Accra will host the 2012 Glo-CAF Awards, an event that rewards sports personalities under the year under review.And with the stage set for the awards, the President of the continent's football governing body will arrive ahead of time for a series of meetings before the event.Ghana's U-17 women's national team are contention for the 2012 Women’s National Team of the Year prize after being nominated by Caf.The Black Maidens, bronze medalist at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Azerbaijan 2012 face competition from African Women’s Champions, Equatorial Guinea Nigeria’s Super Falcons for the honours.The feat by the Black Maidens is the furthest by any African side at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
