Tigo Ghana is giving customers three times more airtime for every GH¢5 or more recharge to make calls and send SMS to any network in Ghana during the Christmas holidays and beyond.
A statement from Tigo said GHC1 and GHC2 recharges also come with double the amount.
It said the bonus credit could also be used for browsing the internet, and also for international calls to selected destinations.
“This is truly a reward. There can be no better smile than this,” the statement said.
The company said it is doing the promo to push the ‘smile’ fever down to all its loyal customers to enable them make the best out of the festive season with families and friends.
“This is also to welcome new subscribers to the Tigo family, a family that enjoys the best telecommunication services in the country by far,” Head of Marketing, Tenu Awoonor said.
Awoonor said Tigo is always looking out for innovative ways to reward its subscribers and put smiles on their faces, adding that giving away free airtime is to enable subscribers enjoy the credit that lasts the longest.
He assured that Tigo would continue to give subscribers the best value for money and other unbeatable freebies that would put the Tigo smile on their face.
