AC Milan striker M’Baye Niang has said sorry on Tuesday for being caught driving without a licence through the city.
He was stopped by police in a car belonging to teammate Bakaye Traore but denied reports that he told officers that he was Traore.
The 17-year-old said: “I want to say sorry to all the fans as well as Adriano Galliani, Massimiliano Allegri and this magnificent football club.
“I made a grave error and am sorry but I did not say that I was Traore.”
The former Caen striker is set to be fined by the Rossoneri for his behaviour.”
