The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index, went up again on Tuesday by 9.88 points to close trading at 6,265.32 points from 6,255.44 points on Monday.
The change year to date was 12.44.
Traded volume was 364,049 shares valued at GH¢155,385.73. Shares of 16 equities changed hands with Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) leading the pack with 125,200 shares valued at GH¢16,276.00 while SIC Insurance Company Limited (SIC) had its 109,200 shares valued at GH¢43,680.00 sold.
On the broader market, there were five price changes, four positives and a negative. Golden Star Resources Limited (GSR) led the gainers with a share price increase of GH¢0.10 to close trading at GH¢3.40; Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG) went up by GH¢0.03 to close trading at GH¢2.90 while Enterprise Insurance Company Limited (EIC) and Ghana Commercial Bank Limited (GCB) appreciated by GH¢0.01 each to close trading at GH¢1.31 and GH¢1.71 respectively.
Cal Bank Limited (CAL) lost GH¢0.01 to close at GH¢0.27.
Market capitalisation now stands at 18,147.38 million from 18,114.42 million issued shares.
