He was born with a stammer, that nagging speech defect, but he defied all odds to achieve the one dream - to be a lawyer - he nursed from childhood.
In a riveting, revealing and soul-inspiring interview on Joy FM’s personality profile segment on Bola Ray's Drive Time, the ace lawyer talked listeners through how an engineer friend of his dad took him through days of talk therapy and how he occupied the last position in his first year exams at Mfantsipim but ended up as one of the best at sixth form.
He is religious, a football and Chelsea fanatic, reads anything and everything, including “trashy novels” and has remarkable talent in music, having been music director for Joyful Way Incorporated in the past.
He finished Legon (first degree) at age 22, Law School at 24 and married at age 26.
Will he advice his son to marry at 26? "I'll tell him to do what he likes best."
He is Ace Ankomah; some say he is a litigant; controversial; but he says he loves what he does.
The story plays out in the attached audio.
