As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, leading Engineering Consultancy firm, ADK Consortium has donated items worth GHc 5,000 to the children’s ward of the Ridge Hospital in Accra and the Christ Faith Foster Home in Fafraha.
ADK’s Office Manager, Ms. Mariam Mary Berry led the delegation assisted by Ama Frimpong Anim, ADK Project Manager to present items worth GHc 2,500 to each facility.
The Items included Bedsheets, Pillows, Parazone, Detoil, Vim, Mob, Handsanitizer, T-roll, Air refreshner, Zoflora, Wipes, Gloves and Cotton.
At the Children's ward at Ridge Hospital, the items were received by Dr Fumi, assisted by Health Service Administrator in charge of Child Health Department, Ema Sakyibea.

Dr. Fumi, who was surprised and pleased to see the representatives of ADK, expressed her profound gratitude for the gesture and also encouraged the company to do more with specific areas of need by the hospital.
The Supervisor of Christ Faith Foster Home, Madam Henrietta Asare-Agyemang also received the items on behalf of the facility.
She also thanked the ADK team for the donation and welcomed the team to visit the home anytime to spend time with the children.
The donations are in-line with ADK’s Charity Plan implemented annually. The Charity Plan in previous years has made donations to Little Ange Orphanage, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, SOS Children’s Village, Easter Charity Donation to Foster home (Fafraha) and also to Ridge Hospital.
