The Adomi Bridge which provides a key link between the Eastern and Volta regions is to be closed for most of the day for the next three weeks to allow rehabilitation works.
According to officials, the bridge will remain closed from 6am to 6pm each day with half hour windows at some points for traffic to flow.
Acting Chief Executive of the Ghana Highway Authority, Peter Dagadu who admits closure will seriously affect commuters is however advising them to make use of alternative routes.
